Tod Doyle - Having previously self-released his debut EP in Budapest during the summer of 2012, Doyle who is a multi instrumentalist – spent the following years drumming and touring in various bands, both in Ireland and abroad. 2019 will see him release a long-awaited follow-up to 2012’s These Days EP. With a natural gift for storytelling, combined with a baritone voice and penchant for plucked guitar lines, Doyle’s sound is unique, setting him as a compelling prospect on the modern Irish folk scene. With a new album in the works, Doyle will be sure to find new audiences with his unique blend of modern folk in 2019.

ICE CREAM RELEASE
Tod Doyle is set to release ‘Ice Cream’ the first of four singles to be released from November the 8th 2019. This project began from a small studio on the outskirts of the Curragh Co. Kildare where Doyle demo’d upcoming material for his next album. Since then Doyle has collaborated with producer and Mix engineer Hally to bring his sound to the next level.
Doyle states that “The first single set for release ‘Ice Cream’ is a simple folk song that explores the positives and negatives of love, our possible futures and dark pasts.” Doyle also says “This project has been a long time coming and I’m looking forward to the first couple of singles that I will release, Each will be quite different”
